Categories and issues are how we organize your customer data within Idiomatic to make it easy for you to see the types of topics that are coming through. Every single bug report, customer conversation, and feature request that comes through your inbox is an opportunity to piece together the big picture of customer problems and needs that would’ve otherwise been missed or left unheard. Categories and issues help you to find those trends or patterns and take meaningful action on them within your product and support strategy.
Idiomatic uses a two-level organizational system of categories and issues called your hierarchy:
Categories: Categories are the higher-level groupings and cover broader areas of your product, such as your billing structure or customer-facing application.
Issues: These are more granular groupings within your categories. Each category will have a set of issues that provide more details about what's happening within the category.
